Long time ago i changed my Mesmer and i found that i kinda fall back to old favorites ^^
It uses similar pieces as my old look for him: https://gw2style.com/look.php?id=7605
After i finished his new look he kinda reminded me of a Mursaat and when the backpiece came out it was a clear choice for me :D
The clipping of the head- and chestpiece looks actually quite nice imo, so i kept that comb. The trickster gloves and boots are simply my favorite for my mesmer and pretty much every look of him uses those xD
With the colours i tried to tie in the backpiece a bit, thus i found that the golden ornaments of the chest are actually not too vibrant, since they have the same colour as the backpiece.
Gloves and boots are coloured to match the weaponset im always using on my mesmer, the shadow weapons.

The ones were he is floating in the air are taken with the "Electromagnetic Ascender" toy.

The presentation is particular amazing here with all the different settings you chose and you managed to pull a lot of cool poses, especially considering that mesmers are kinda lame when it comes to animations I love how detailed and intricate all the armour pieces are, it really makes it look like such a high level armour!  Iris Fashion Guru | Your screenshots are amazing but the first one struck me down the most thanks to the high level of details on your armor *___* I think Lazarus would be envious as your character gives off the majestic presence of not the Mursaat but the Primeval Kings (!) although the Mursaat backpack totally works here. My favorite features are the headdress-chest-leg combo and the artful uses of taro/muted purple to levitate the heavy combo of gold and dirty silver. It's like pleasantly finding a bit of tangy taste in a hearty meal. Gold from me! Oh and I didn't think he was a mesmer. What a disguise! |

 AnaChronism Fashion Guru | This is by far one of my absolute favourite looks ever! I simply love the armour combo so much every little piece seems to fit in just perfectly like they were meant to create a round up look! The backpiece spices things a litte more up and the colours are just great. I really like those dark purple tones it's fitting to the Mesmer's aura and to the locations you used on several screens. Speaking of screens- I am still blown away by every single one of them. Especially the title screen and the ones with the glowy mushrooms are absolutely stunning. It was really worth it taking so much effort and time to this upload :3 I think there is no single thing that I dislike or would change and such a perfect upload deserves all the gold!!! |

Your colors are so subtle and intricate, without context I wouldn't know where to pull the string. Obviously, it isn't a mursaat, but it still exudes the same ancient, mysterious power of the mursaat. In a way, it's incredibly timely for all the ancient lore we've been digging up in-game, because this also gives me a crystal desert vibe. Everything in your presentation is fantastic. You've demonstrated a lot of growth since the previous incarnation you linked. Great job! |

Since you told me on my look that you also wanted to upload a look with the same chest + legs combo I waited for this^^ So, we both used those armor pieces on a sylvari.. but the looks are totally different! I love what you created here! I already liked the older look of your mesmer but this looks even better, very coherent. He looks so cool and badass and I love how you used the subtle purple dyes to match your weapons. Def gold^^ |
