When Tyria called, I answered.

Along with my brothers in Legio XIII 'Hispania' I marched against the Dragons. I wielded the Gladius and the Scutum, protected by the full Lorica segmentata. We marched into the Jungle...and died by the thousands. My contubernium fell one by one. Although we gained "victory," soon I was left alone.

I followed the enemy deeper into the jungle. I witnessed horrors of all kinds -- white mantle blood rituals, arcane beasts from outside of this world, and ancient Gods born again. I was continually oppressed by the heat, the insects, and above all a lack of sleep. Until one day by accident an unfortunate acolyte's blood splashed on my armor...and I felt my blood surge. For the first time in months, I felt the clarity and energy of battle as my soul sung with the fury of bloodlust. I was unstoppable.

And so I began to collect it. This is no different than collecting wood from fallen Mordrem to make thick armor, or harvesting a claw from a dragon to make a weapon. It is the same. There is power in Blood, and as I applied it to my weapons and armor I could hear the same rush of battle that I felt the first time.

After I discovered the secret of power, my last companions abandoned me. I am alone in this hellish volcano. I've long since abandoned my gladius and chest plate for more suitable weaponry in the heat. With the power I have gained, I cleave through any opponent I see, growing ever stronger. I notice the red glow that infuses my weapons seems to have spread to my hands, even my eyes...

But what worries me the most is that when I gaze into the void of the Bloodstone, the Void gazes back...and I welcome my kin.

These sets are an evolution of each other. In the past, I geared my warrior as much like a roman legionary as possible. But I felt it was appropriate that as he spent longer and longer time fighting the horrors of the jungle and the volcano, he would modify his old kit. I retained the distinctive pants, helm, and shield...and let the rest begin to become twisted by the power of the Bloodstone.

Very solid roman legionaire look, at least the look you specified armour wise
The other one is not as good imo as the dyes feel off and the Chaos gloves donĀ“t fit the theme
You delivered a beautiful backstory, so it would be nice to round your presentation up with a few more screens ^^

For the corrupted look I wanted to use a bloodstone mace/bow (because that's the pvp meta). I had a hard time finding something sufficiently "roman" and corrupted in red.

Any suggestions are welcome.
