Based off the design of Dota 2 hero, Outworld Devourer, this look is designed for revenants. It has a dark primary color with a glowing contrasting secondary color. Looks very cool.

 AnaChronism Fashion Guru | I think first of all you need to learn the basics about this site and I am taking my time to explain you some of the very important things that you have to take care of when you decide to upload a look. First of all it's very nice that you took some screens in the hero menue but mostly it's good enough to take just one or two screens. You can of course use a program where you can crop every aspect of the hero menue into one screen but you really don't have to. What the other users want to see though are diverse and interesting screens. You made a Sylvari- look? Then take your time and think about all the places around the Maguuma Jungle for example, take your time and make some pretty screens there! In order to get some more interesting Screenshots you can go to the 'Options' menue, scroll down to the camera options and there you have a bunch of sliders you can play around with. You want to achieve close up shots of your character, action shots etc! Just play around with the sliders, see what you can do with these posibilities. If you don't have a single clue what I am talking about when I am talking about action shots or close ups- there are many Stylists you can take a look at (mine included) to get a bigger picture how screening actually works. Right now it's more of a lazy attempt that I am seing here because it realy doesn't take too much time to take shots like the one's you took. Secondly: I am not aware of Dota 2 or how your character looks like there but taking only two armour sets is very boring and plain and lacking of creativity. What you can do is posting a reference picture of the character you were trying to re- create so we get a bigger picture what you were trying to do here. But generally the armour mix is not exciting at all and I personally dislike the helmet very much which is- of course- a very personal and subjective point of view which I will not take in reconsideration while rating your look. But for the future (if you want to post different looks here): try to be more creative, take a look at all the different armour sets that are in the game and try to mix a bit more than taking all the items from two sets. The third issue that I've witnessed is the lack of description and that you didn't use any fitting weapons to the look. Especially the Aetherized Nightmare weapons would fit very very well to the colour scheme that you used here. Also- I appreciate that you described a little bit what you were doing here but some more effort would be nice. Why exactly these skins, what kind of creature/ character is the one you used as a reference etc.? Of course it doesn't have to be a long essay but some more words here and there would be appreciated. And last one: At first I really loved the colours, your dye scheme seemed to be very decent and cool and it reminded me of the weapons I mentioned earlier. But when I looked a bit longer at your screens and at the dyes you used I realised that you didn't bother looking through the colours in order to find a third matching dye. Especially on Sylvari- armour it's easy to play with colours in order to achieve something very interesting. You went into a great direction and I like the colours so far but I would love to see a third one to make it look a bit more interesting but instead you were stuck with mostly black which is never a too exciting thing to do. Sadly your upload is lacking of many very basic things and I hope that my comment gave you a bigger picture of what exactly your upload is lacking of and how you could improve your look a little bit more. Don't take any of this as an insult my intentions are not to blame you or to bully you for anything I think it's rather confusing at first what you have to do as a new user and how a decent screen should look at but with some time and effort I am pretty sure that you would be able to achieve all these things! |
