Hello everyone :3

Okay, so I really don't know what you guys will think about this, as this look is actually sharing 3 armor pieces with Sharkey's latest look. But as I spent the whole weekend leveling and styling my kitten, I thought I'd give it a try anyway, cause I had the idea in my head before Sharkey's Rocker appeared here. I guess it's obvious I had a totally different concept in mind, so...here she is. :3

Shari got her last name from one of my favorite NPCs in game, as you all can see; I just wanted to honor old Almorra a little. ;) So, even if it might not be logical lorewise, I was imagining Shari could maybe join her warband after fighting with the vigil in the war against the dragons. That's why I chose the main picture. ^-^
Her first name was a suggestion from one of my guild mates. As you may know by now, I like to make characters who are somewhat related to people/things I love, so...of course I went with his idea. :)

I wanted Shari to look somewhat wild & primal, so I went for the tribal pieces cause they leave most of the body bare; but as she is a vigil, she had to wear some of their uniform too. I just think those pieces have a great synergy.

I always wanted to use the staff & I absolutely love the flame eye (yeah, I know, most people don't cause it's overused, but I loved it from the very start^^) and I think the effects of both pieces go so well together, so those are my reasons for choosing the armor. :)

Dont like the colors, since they looks too much acid. Some more soft shades would fit better, imo.
But she's deff cute =]

edt. Also kinda sad to not see best light armor headpiece ingame here (t3 cultural ^^) =[

that headpiece just wouldn't fit the look in any way. besides, I don't like to put things all over my toons' hair or face. nothing cool about that in my eyes :/ ^^

Aww, really great Charr! She really is a complete package from head to toe, I definitely enjoy her hairstyle and face and the overall fiery theme!
She reminds me a lot of the classic Charr from GW1
I like the bright and fiery colours and the shamanic look, although the legs don´t fell 100% fitting
I do know that it´s part of her story, but I´d prefer smth more shamanic
Your presentation is spot on, gold! ^^

Thank you so much :) You're absolutely right about the leg-thing...not so long ago I thought it'd be impossible for me to do a light charr cause I liked absolutely none of the pants. I'm glad my admiration for Almorra gave me an idea I can live with. :D

Actually it is.
gw1 wiki : they hood their eyes to better commune with spirits that grant great power and protection to Ritualists and their comrades.
wow (shaman page) wiki : Shaman are spiritual guides and practitioners, not of the divine, but of the very elements. Unlike some other mystics, shaman commune with forces that are not strictly benevolent. (since this is the best source of what shamans addicted to)

So, both has deal with the spirits/ancestors/elementals/etc.

Still it doesn't match the other armor pieces I chose and I still don't like it. ;) I don't buy styling kits to cover things up afterwards :P

Awesome stuff! Honestly, I was kinda surprised to be the first charr to post that combo on the site, it's all the rage amongst light armor charr at the moment when I head to the black citadel. The tattoos, the exposed midriff, and a mantle scarf that doesn't look like you ripped the comforter off a king sized bed and wrapped it around your neck... Such a breath of fresh air!

I hope we see a lot more of these for a little while, to be honest. I think there's a lot of mileage to be gotten from the look (relatively speaking at least) and speaks to the sort of light armor set that works phenomenally for charr. Not trying to stretch an existing piece of clothing, but something to accent the physique. Much better than butt capes that clip every time your tail moves!

Enough ranting, I love these colors! The weapons and their use in the composition of the shots are really nice, too! For the pants, did you consider T1/T2 cultural? Ooooh, the embroidered pants are really neat too, haven't looked at them specifically for this set but they might work to pull off a simpler version of the same look. I suppose you can try the conjurer's pants as well, but I hate the lack of customization on some of the details myself. I don't suppose those are incredibly shamanic, but they all tend to work nicely with vests and the like. Some times it's a matter of looking at them in a different color... and ignoring the clipping, though the embroidered and t1/t2 cultural aren't as bad about that!
