"Cathan leader of a band of krytan pirates, the Jade Dragons. Her armor is believed to be fashioned from a set which belonged to an ancient canthan royalty, whom she is rumored to be a long-lost descendant of.

Despite the impracticality of heavy armor onboard her clipper, Swift Emerald, she insists on putting on the full set during most of her waking hours, even during shore leaves. The combined weight with her equally cumbersome weapons does not slow her down, she is still able to be as agile as her crew who are in lighter clothing. Though it has taken quite a toll on her petite frame, thus the sullen demeanor, she seems to harbor a private reason for bearing the strain.

The only time the crew manage to see her laugh is when she is about to retire for her nightly rest. Till this day, they are still debating, over the drinks of course, on whether the captain is simply vain, or her armor holds certain secret. But no one dares to tread on her toes, for they have witnessed their captain's prowess in battle, and they are aware they are distant second to her."

My take on the amazing female carapace chest/legging & phalanx boots combination, with the look inspired by Dragon's Jade weapon skins. Need advise on dyejob, pretty please with cherry and whipped cream on top!

-update- I have made some changes to red & gold dye and upload the loading screen as main image, please do let me know how you feel about the new dye choice! Thank you all in advance for your kind help! :D

I love your idea and the theme. Also the crisp mint dye is beautiful. Not the most creative armor combo as the top and bottom are from the same set. While I think it's quite original and cool with the red dye that matches your hair, I'm not sure it goes that well with the green dye. Screenshots are cool, you should definitely make some more :D

Keeping apart we have a lack of screenshots, just some points as improvement:

- Remove the backpiece. It's totally out with the concept.

- Play more with the dyes. This glowing green with a dark red... it needs some transition.

- I know it's not mandatory, but this face doesn't tell me anything. The character looks like a doll without feeling.

I had an idea very similar to this, just never got the time to post it. I love the look of metallic armor dyed green with the gold and red accents.

I like the original idea here and the dyescheme in itself feels really Asian and beautiful to me, the bright coloured hair adds A LOT to the look!
While I love the top half of your look, the bottom half doesn´t entirely convince me; it looses the Cantha vibe your were going for
You could try the Barbaric ones (the netting really feels Luxon to me and you do have the Luxon weapons here) or even the Ornate Guild Tassels, I think those would be perfect!

Here are a few of my thought:

- I like how you use the illustrious shoulders and gloves to match with the carapace top. They are very ornate and gives off the royalty feeling.

- Crisp Mint is beautiful as a Jadeite color, however, it's bluer than the green of Jade Dragon Weapons. The mismatch in tone will bug out in more neutral lighting. They match really well with Ebb and Flow so it's a positive thing.

- Now onto my off-put feelings: your choice of gold, red and green on the color palette is not quite refined. They have the same brightness and intensity that they rather clash each other than complimenting. The color is flat with everything competes for light and no shadow. The overall look feels heavy and complicated instead of rich in color and details.

In the end, your character reminds me of Guan Yu statue in his temple. It may need some adjustment in terms of dye job.

Thank you all for the glowing compliments and wonderful critiques!

Twigz - I'd love to see your version, go for it! :D

Elessar - You are right! The bottom did pose a headache, but they are the closest I can get to retain the overall ornate appearance. I'll try to craft a Guild Tassel to post the result!
