In the depths of the most mystical forest lives the King of all Faeries - Oberon he is called, and mighty is he, as he commands magic and nature around him alike. Side by side with his wife Titania - who is said to be of heavenly beauty - he rules over his kingdom with wisdom and cunning.

"But we are spirits of another sort:
I with the morning's love have oft made sport,
And, like a forester, the groves may tread,
Even till the eastern gate, all fiery-red,
Opening on Neptune with fair blessed beams,
Turns into yellow gold his salt green streams.
But, notwithstanding, haste; make no delay:
We may effect this business yet ere day."

For all his wisdom though one shouldn´t forget that fairies are cunning and sometimes even treacherous beings. What might feel cruel to an onlooker is merely a source of amusement for Oberon and his court. Magic and spells are his forte and bewitching an unknowing subject with a love spell or pitting two brothers against each other is a play that Oberon loves to watch escalate. He is a trickster by heart who learned to be a responsible king on the side. His court isn´t an all to serious one anyways, as his fairies like to frolick and enjoy themselves and Oberon leads them with equal joy.

Hey guys,
I present to you my take on the Moth Wings! As soon as these wings came out, I knew I had to craft a look around it and immediately these Moth Wings struck me as very fairy-like! I loved the way the cultural top of the Sylvari created some additional smaller wings and I decided to craft a look around it.
While some armour choices might be obvious ones (the Carapace legs for example), I tried to spice it up a little by also incorporating the Trickster armour, because yes, he has some kind of trickster nature himself and I felt that the devilish faces on gloves and boots would embody that quite well.
As a king needs a crown this was the most obvious choice to go with for me.
Since the Moth Wings have a really distinct colourscheme already, I tried not to stray away from it too far and make this look all too colourful; instead I tried to find the right shades of red, which wasn´t all too easy on the armourpieces I chose. The dusty grey/beige outline of the wings felt like a nice balancing dye that helped keeping this a little more on the natural site.
With the weapons I also tried to combine mothlike, fairy-ish and regal styles to get a good mixture. The warhorn kinda reminded me of dried moths, so there is that.
The Pale Tree had to become Titania for some of the screenshots :P But I might upload a companionlook to this one soon, as my main character actually also sports a fairy look.
I hope you enjoy this look ^^

(The backpiece is the Moth Wings backpiece which I can´t specify yet!)

I don't like wings but I love how those wings fit with the back part of the leggings, you made them look pretty cool!
By the way, the shoulders are hidden? I ask because I see them in information but I guess you are not showing them, right?

Very good screenshots! I like them all except the 5th of the extra ones, it's hard to understand, or at least to me :P
Good job!

Yeah, the don´t show with this particular top piece
I can also remove them, but I kinda dislike the empty slot up there ^^"
It´s during the Gravedigger attack of the GS, I liked how his back looked there
Thanks for your feedback, as always very welcome! ^^

I was hoping someone would make a cool sylvari outfit with the moth wings :) Your dyes fit perfectly and loving the armor. It is quite hard using armor on sylvari that isnt cultural and it shows in the way that the red fabric on the skirt clashes a bit with the leafy top, especially in certain light settings. Love all the thought you put into every piece of armor though and I especially love those extra "wings" on the top. Looks as if theyre part of the moth wings as well. Can't imagine a much better look being crafted around these wings :D definitely gold!

He is so stunning. The usage of the Moth Wings is amazing and I love how you created a look around it.
You payed attention to its texture and the dye scheme and the Carapace Pants may be an obvious choice but I am glad that you used them since they are fitting too well to that theme.
The cultural top is a very awesome addition and I really like this mixture between Sylvary and Non- Sylvary- like armour, it spices up the whole look!
Your dyes are amazing. As I already mentioned you managed to incorperate the colours of the wings to your outfit very perfectly, nothing looks out of place here.
I like the headpiece a lot it really has a crown feeling.
Screens are gorgeous at some of those he looks full of aditude xD
Gold, all the Gold!!

Aahh... so beautiful. I don't see him as Oberyn - the elf kind has always feel much more sinister to me. But your character is still original and far more good looking
