Inspired by the Anglo-Saxon Woden, or Norse Odin, I decided that I'd make my norn a necromancer. It makes the most sense to me, since Woden is associated with death, spirits, knowledge, sorcery, and runic marks.
Wöden is often seen as an old one-eyed traveler with a staff and hat and accompanied by two ravens. His greatsword, Gram ("Wrath" in Old Norn), is the weapon used to kill the dragon Blightghast.
