"May the Matriarch take you!"
This fierce creature might be closer to the harpies than she is to mankind. On feathered wings she is seen flying with those wild creatures, leading the flock or fighting among them. She left the Shiverpeaks long ago and is often seen in the vast regions of Ascalon, only briefly settling down with her sisters to build twisted nests.
With a crown of rough stone she fought her way to the top of her flock, a Matriarch of the harpies herself. As an elementalist she uses her powers to control the wind and raise the breeze under her wings.

When the Hawk Wings were released I was basically estatic and wanted to create an outfit around it and so I basically stayed with the parts that seemed most birdlike to me, incorporating feathers and talons to give her a fierce look. I just love how well these wings look when you fly with them and being able to showcase them in Tyria now as well was a big treat!
I hope you´ll like my fierce harpy queen ^^
(Hawk Wings Backpack isn´t in the accesoires yet, will add as soon as it is)

I bet it would look really good, didn´t think of that! She was an already existing character, as soon as I get my hands on a Styling Kit I should test that ^^

I love the mix with all the feathers! Everything fits perfectly. Very unique. And as usual the screens are beautiful and perfect!
It's a very good idea to create a harpy look around the wings ! And actually I had the same idea, I've been working on a harpy look for a few days xD
So I think I'll go for a valkyrie look instead!

Yeah, I kinda went for the most ovious thing :p You were also going for light armour? ^^ I know I´ll look forward to it either way!

Yeah this is kind of obvious to go for a harpy look with these wings but we didn't saw one until now.. And what an amazing look!
And yeah I was going for a light armor too but with totally different armor pieces (except the headpiece, I wanted to make a harpy queen too ahah xD) but on a sylvari, so it would still be different. But I don't know I will see. :)

Just when I think "it's impossible that anyone can get more unique looks out of the limited amount of skins we currently have available - I've seen everything", something like this happens. What an incredibly interesting look - such simple items, but the idea and its realization.. absolutely fascinating. :) Gold!

This is a really beautiful look! How you managed to integrate all these feathery elements together makes for a cohesive look that I wouldn't have expected from so many different armor pieces.

Ever since the Leystone Cowl came out I've been stumped on a look to use it on. The same can be said for the Lawless Gloves. The two pieces seemed too stand-alone to be able to be combined with other armor pieces suitably, especially not with something as delicate and ornate as the Phoenix Pants. But here you managed to combine them into something really special: a regal but also wild look.

Your continued use of the feathered motif into the weapons was a very nice approach. And despite the different color your staff uses I think it was a nice complement to your look; it breaks up the color palette gently while also adding a highlight to her eyes. Although, I'd have to say the focal point of this look is the dyes. They match the backpiece so perfectly they make the armor combination look like an outfit that was made especially for these wings.

The concept here is brilliant too. I love to see that someone else (or else(s) if Acethyle is included) was also experimenting with a harpy look for those wings. I've been fiddling around with some armor pieces myself to fit the theme (a mad Eagle shaman who lives with harpies) but I think you pulled off this look so much better than I ever could.

All-in-all, max sliders: beautiful armor mix and dyes, really original concept, and very nice screens.
